Achimed® Achilles tendon support With Achilles tendon injuries and conditions, every step becomes painful. This is because the tendon transmits force from the calf muscles. However, there is an effective way to reduce this: protect the tendon from external impact and stabilize it using an Achimed brace. The silicone insert positioned over the Achilles tendon gently compresses it and limits excessive movement, which results in pain relief. Compression fabric improves blood circulation and tissue nourishment, accelerating recovery. This reduces hematomas and swelling, and alleviates pain. The set includes special heel inserts that reduce tension and soreness in the Achilles tendon while walking, as well as a special sock that makes it easier to put on the brace.

• Post-traumatic and postoperative rehabilitation;
• Pain in the area of the Achilles tendon (achillodynia);
• Inflammation of the Achilles tendon bursa (Achilles bursitis).

Additional information:

The maximum therapeutic effect when using Achimed is achieved when the ankle joint is in motion. The support should be removed during prolonged rest and while sleeping.
