Levamed® stabili-tri modular ankle orthosis

Levamed® stabili-tri is a modular functional orthosis for step-by-step treatment of ankle injuries. The compression fabric of the orthosis, the lacing system, the plastic splint, and the rigid tongue provide a high degree of ankle stabilization, allowing for sports activities during later stages of rehabilitation. The orthosis can be used for ankle instability caused by ligament damage, as well as for the prevention of supination injuries. Levamed stabili-tri creates optimal conditions for rehabilitation after an ankle injury. Its compact design allows the orthosis to be worn with footwear.

Product features:

• The plastic splint stabilizes the heel and protects the medial side of the ankle joint.
• Additional stabilization of the ankle joint with a fixation strap (figure-eight bandage type)
• 3 levels of stabilization depending on the stage of rehabilitation, thanks to the modular design of the orthosis
• The degree of joint stabilization can be individualized using the lacing with snap hooks.
• The tongue of the orthosis can be opened wide for painless application and removal of the device.

Operating principle:

• The modular design provides proper stabilization at this stage of rehabilitation.
• The plastic splint provides additional stabilization for the ankle joint.
• The fixation strap increases foot pronation and creates favorable conditions for healing.
• The stiff tongue prevents the talus from shifting forward.
• Compression fabric improves blood circulation, which helps to reduce hematomas and swelling.

• grade 2 and 3 ankle ligament injury
• chronic instability of the ankle and subtalar joints
• rehabilitation after ankle ligament surgery
